Tom Cushman

Tom graduated from Oregon State in 1978 with a degree in Atmospheric Science. He now works as a meteorologist and lives in Chico, CA. Tom joined the Aggies in 1992.

Roger Dix

Roger joined the Aggies in the early 90's and lives in Fair Oaks, CA where he works as a teacher. The PA racing circuit, as well as the camaraderie of the club, keeps him motivated, .

 

Gary Gellin

Gary Gellin

Gary made running a habit only after turning 40, having been primarily a cyclist (competitive and touring) for 20 years. His main interest is long distance trail running, but he loves to compete on any surface for any distance. Gary lives at the base of Mt. Tamalpais in Mill Valley, CA with trails right out his door. When not running, he works as a Mechanical Engineer.

Joe Green

Joe Green

Joe attended Cal Poly SLO, graduating with a degree in engineering in 1983. His dad (1:58, 880 yard runner in late 1940-50's) fooled him into running to stay in shape for high school basketball. Joe now enjoys running for "those spurious, glorious moments in a workout or race when everything is working together, you can do no wrong, and every cell in your body is screaming, 'I am alive'."

Robert Grove

Robert Grove

Robert joined the Aggies in 1990 after graduating from Cal Poly SLO. He continues to race on the Masters team and is inspired by the next generation of young runners. Robert and his his wife Liz (also an Aggie) live in Folsom, where he works as a Mortgage Originator.

Steve Haase

Steve Haase

Steve graduated from Sacramento State in 1984 and joined the Aggies in the early 90's. He currently lives in Grass Valley and works as a contractor.

Jaime Heilpern

Jaime Heilpern

Jaime joined the Aggies in 2010 and has since been a consistent and strong contributor to the Masters Men's squad. He currently lives in San Francisco and works as a Software Engineer.

Jeff Hongo

Jeff Hongo

Jeff joined the Aggies in 2007 and has been a staple to the Master Men's team, both as an athlete and as a team captain. He lives in Campbell and work as a teacher. Hongo says, "I run because it clears my mind and helps me maintain focus on the rest of my life. Running also provides me with a community of friends who also enjoy training and racing."

Alan Jackson

Alan Jackson

Alan joined the Aggies in 2011 and led the Open Men's XC team as Captain for several years, including two fantastic teams in 2011 (3rd in Club Nat's) and 2012 (2nd in Club Nat's). Now as a master, he still has some competitive spirit left in him. Cross country remains his true love, perhaps a tie with his wife and two daughters.

Ed Klotz

Ed Klotz

Ed began to run at age 12 and has always enjoyed the challenge of trying to improve. Ed says, "Even though my time for PRs is probably behind me, I still enjoy that challenge of trying to improve over the course of a season." Ed holds a masters degree in Math & Economics from Oberlin College, as well as a Ph.D. degree in Operations Research from Stanford. He now works as a Software Engineer and lives in Incline Village, Nevada.

Denis O'Halloran

Denis O'Halloran

After graduating from Humboldt State with a degree in Natural Resources, Denis joined the Aggies in the late 70's. He now lives in Nevada City, CA and works as a water data specialist with USGS. Denis continues to run for mental and physical health, competitive enjoyment, and social gatherings with Aggies and other friends. He enjoys running on trails in nice places as much as he can. Denis has two young adult sons.

Brian attended Humboldt State University from 1999. He joined the Aggies in 2016. Brian lives in Alameda and works as a Software Developer.

Mike Parrott

Mike Parrott

Mike joined the Aggies in 1992 and graduated from Cal Poly SLO in 1993. He now works as an architect in the Sacramento area.

Kevin Pierpoint

Kevin Pierpoint

Kevin attended University of North Carolina before moving out west and joining the Aggies in 2000. He competed for many years as a member of the open men's team, and now continues to compete as a Master. Kevin works at Google managing a team of technical recruiters. He lives in Campbell with his wife and two daughters, Avery and Emery.

Jeff Shaver

Jeff Shaver

Jeff started running in the 10th grade (1975) after trying most team sports and not being very good at any of them. He's been running ever since while watching all those team sports on TV. He is "now a working fool who spends way too much time on airplanes and in China." Jeff is married with 2 adult children and lives in Cupertino where he works as a Manufacturing Engineer for Apple.

Carlos D Siqueiros

Carlos lives in San Jose where he works as an Equipment Engineer. He earned a mechanical engineering degree from National University in 1986 and joined the Aggies in 2005. Despite several knee surgeries and battling arthritis in recent years, he is keen to get back on the racing scene, saying "It aint over till its over".
